Previously we communicated that Nigel Owens would be joining us as our After Dinner Speaker for the Gala Dinner.  Unfortunately, Nigel has been summoned to a World Rugby Union meeting in London on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday 27 November which prevents Nigel from joining us as our After Dinner Speaker.  Representatives from both the northern and southern hemispheres will be attending the meeting and the gathering also forms part of his commitments to the Welsh Rugby Union.  Nigel has apologised profusely for this last-minute change and the inconvenience it would cause.

However, onto the good news!  We have been extremely fortunate in securing Leon Lloyd to join us as our After Dinner Speaker for the evening.  Leon is a former England international rugby player, who has played at the highest level and against elite players such as Jonah Lomu, (and survived!). He won 11 trophies whilst playing with the English and European Champions, Leicester Tigers. Since retiring from playing the sport, he has gained a first-class honours degree in Leadership and Management, followed by an MBA receiving a Distinction. As a Ph.D. candidate in Leadership and Change Management, he has gone on to work with many global organisations such as the Premier League, the UK Special Forces, Microsoft, and AMEX.  Leon will share innumerable insights, stories, practical tools, tips and techniques and his 5-point steps to building a winning team provides a practical framework for success. He will also share how you can go from the highest of the highs to the lowest of the lows, and then come back stronger.
